By viewing natural forms in shadow, Jenny Wilson captures the perfection of never-ending light. She invites the viewer inside the space she has created and allows them to experience a celebration of ancient times. Wilson uses painting as a vehicle to explore the mystery of nature. She builds up thin layers of glazes in order to create spacial ambiguity and richness in her paintings. She also uses shadow rather than light to define these forms, which seem to reflect natural mysteries.
